Fire March 9th 2026
As many of you know, we recently experienced an electrical fire at The Edible Paper Store & Co. (March 9th) While we are incredibly thankful the fire was contained and no one was hurt, it has left us in a situation where we cannot operate normally right now.
The electrical panel and exterior wiring were heavily damaged, and the building is no longer safe for us to continue operating in the space. As of March 16th - we still have NO power.
BUT we are able to process, print and mail EDIBLE images from our HOME OFFICE until the new building is ready! You can still pick up - just call before you come (601-987-7727)
Because of this, we are now in the process of relocating the store.
Our insurance is helping with content damage, but unfortunately it does NOT cover relocation costs, moving expenses, or new signage for the new location.
And like many small businesses, the beginning of the month is already financially tight. With the store not operating like normal right now, we are also not bringing in our usual income.
One unexpected challenge is signage for the new location,
As much as I wish we could take our current sign with us, it does not meet the requirements for the new building.
So… we’ll need a new one.
Which also means…
Details coming soon!
We are painting, installing florring - its just a WHOLE thing BUT it will be worth it. So with the new store, added costs there as well... $$$$$$ (Going bit crazy!)

Every single penny helps, and y’all have touched my heart in so many ways. I truly cannot say thank you enough.
If you can’t donate, please share this post and keep us in your prayers. That helps more than you realize.
We will get through this and we WILL reopen — stronger than ever — so we can keep serving all of the amazing bakers, makers, and sweet creators in our community.
Thank y’all for standing with us.
